Please check whether you are attending your session by telehealth or in person as our Psychologists sometimes work from home if all their sessions are on telehealth for the day.
Please call +61 7 35558120 if you need to check or change.
We believe that your investment in therapy should lead to a measurable outcome. We have been mentored by the key leaders in the use of outcome measurement as part of therapy and continue to consider this a key characteristic of our treatment approach.
Unless you opt out, a brief symptom measure will need to be completed before every session to enable us to track your progress. The link to this survey will be sent via email the day prior to your scheduled appointment.
We will discuss the results of this outcomes survey, and together you can decide if therapy should continue as is, or if a change is needed.
We are serious about partnership, and are genuinely interested in working with you to make sure you get the best therapy experience and outcome.
We use the DASS10-PM which is an empirically validated tool designed for monitoring progress in treatment.

Getting to know each other
Meeting someone for the time can be really hard so my aim in our first few sessions is to give both of us an opportunity to get to know each other, for it is just as important for you to get to know me as it is for me to get to know you.
I see our time together as a gift and myself as a resource for you. I value authenticity and honesty, so feedback on what helps and does not help you feel safe in this space is really important. Once we get an idea of what might be going on for you, we can make a plan together toward a goal. My hope is to journey with you for as long as you need in your path to healing, growth and beyond. I deliberately keep my caseload small to ensure I can commit to doing the best I can for every client whom I know and matter to me.
Likewise, I feel incredibly privileged to be able to work with fellow colleagues and colleagues in training. I work from a deliberative reflective practice model and see supervision as a resource to meet your developmental needs. My hope is to journey with you to becoming not just a sound technically excellent clinician but also for you to be able to bring the best version of yourself to the therapy room to be there for your clients.
I look forward to working with you.
